Many of these trains have a wide range of accommodation options, not just standard and first class seats. At the cheaper end of the spectrum are reclining seats, similar to premium class seats on an airline. There are also shared couchettes, cabins with either 4 or 6 bunk-style beds, allowing you to lie down comfortably for a good night’s sleep.
